Mission Statement
The Ponca City Fire and Ambulance Department’s mission is to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fire, medical emergencies, and other disasters. This will be accomplished through prevention education, medical services, and other related emergency and non-emergency activities. The department will actively participate in our community, serve as role models and mentors, and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all the resources at our command to provide a service deemed “excellent” by our citizens.

Provide ongoing education and state of the art training to fire fighters/medics, maintains certification for personnel, order and maintain supplies and safety equipment
