The duties of the Energy Advisory Board are to:
- advise the Board of Commissioners in all phases of maintenance, operation, rates, customer service and long-range planning to meet future electric and energy related requirements;
- recommend updates and improvements to the physical facilities as well as all electric and energy related services;
- conduct comprehensive studies of rate structures;
- conduct comprehensive studies to increase capabilities;
- track the financial conditions pertaining to estimated profit and expenses and determines if adequate fund balances are being maintained; and
- recommend plans and policies which will ensure continued competitiveness.
