2-Person Cross Country Golf Tournament Results

In a tightly contested tournament that had just 6 holes but spanned the entire golf course the team of Jerry Sorrels Jr. and Chad Colberg walked away victorious over the rest of the field. Their winning score 28.75 bested the 30.00 that was shot by Greg Ward and Paul Taylor. Coming in third place was Rodger Geurin and David Turner with a 31.00 and Lester Wayman and Dennis Dickinson finished fourth with a 31.50.

Lew Wentz Club Championship (for people who have current handicaps through us: minimum 5 scores) (June)

Cross Country (February)
Reverse Scramble (July)
Par 3 (May)
Home and home with Hidden Lakes and Bailey Ranch (July 17 here and July 31 there with Bailey Ranch)
NEW RULES AND IDEAS:
Have a Money List posted. We will take $1 per player for the end of year Wentz Cup Tournament (November)
This will be for the top 20 players on the Wentz Money List.
Get picture taken after victory. Every tournament including scrambles. No Picture=No Money.
The rules for tournament sign ups are: You will pay when you sign up. If you sign up more than a week before tournament you will save $10. ($25-$35 for Members and $35-$45 for non-members.)
Have 2 Thursday Night Scrambles per month and 1 FUN Thursday Night Scramble per month. Skins can only be won during true scrambles.
Winners of the Scrambles and Tournaments will have picture taken for the newspaper and our Wall of Fame.
Have one Friday Night Fun Night which is either a horserace or a Pros choice set up for play.
Handicaps are $15 until April 31st. In May they go to $20 and after June 1st it goes to $25.
The new special for the year is if you buy more than $50 in pro shop merchandise you are automatically entered into a monthly drawing for a Wentz Collection shirt. Each monthly winner will then be eligible to win a Cobra Staff Cart Bag at the end of the year.
Your Golf Tip for The Month:
With your playing time become less and less, swing a club or broom at least three times a week to keep your golf muscles in shape. While you are doing this, remember your tempo!
Starting the last week of every month I will start sending out the following month's calendar. Please print them off to have at your disposal. They will let you know all the upcoming functions so there will be on confusion.
